Kraftgun Review: Worth the Buy?

When trying to pick out a new product, it can be hard to decide if you’re not aware of the specifics of individual models or competitors. This goes for any kind of technology, and percussion massagers are no different.

This post should help you decide whether or not you want to buy the Kraft Gun.

It also assumes you know what a percussion massager is: in short, an electronic massager that percusses (taps very fast, over and over) in order to hit the muscles in the right spots, and in deeper areas, to achieve satisfaction.

I am going to discuss specifics, pricing, unique features, and what exactly the Kraft Gun has to offer that other percussion massagers don’t.

All of these things should help you figure out your decision and make it final.

General Specifications

For starters, the Kraft Gun is incredibly lightweight.

It weighs just a mere 2.2 lbs / 1 kg, ensuring that anyone can pick it up and use it. It is quiet at about 65 DB, has an incredibly fast 1800-2400 RPM, and has a very long battery life compared to other percussion guns, at about 3.5 hours.

For reference, most percussion massage guns have a battery life between 60 to 120 minutes, just barely clocking out over 2 hours for the more durable ones. The Kraft Gun easily beats out most models when it comes to lasting long on one charge.

It also has three different set speeds, three different modes, and four attachments. This means that for anyone who uses it, there is a way to adjust the machine in order to make it work for them, hit the right spots, or simply be palatable for their liking in terms of speed, angle, reach, etc.

With all of this in mind, the Kraft Gun has some of the most competitive specs out there for a percussion massager, when we are talking about its price point.

It retails for about $369 which means it is in the middle between the cheaper models that go for around $100-$250, and the more expensive, luxury percussion massage guns that can charge as high as $600 for entry.

More About Pricing

Because the Kraft Gun is a mid-to-higher tier priced percussion massage gun, there are certain things that need to be noted about this. The first (and most important) is that there are not too many models that have competitive stats in this price range.

There are a few at best; most notably TimTamTheragun, and Hypervolt but besides those brands, there aren’t many others.

This means that an asking price of $360-$380, which may seem high or daunting at first, is actually much more reasonable considering all of its features and functions, as well as the spot that it occupies.

Another important point to consider about the pricing of the Kraft Gun is there is only one model, currently. Many would consider this to be a downside: namely, there isn’t a cheaper model available for you to try if you want to try to get in on it without spending the full price.

The final bit that I’ll mention about pricing is while it may seem expensive at first, remember that due to its specs and performance numbers (which are comparable to top-class percussion massagers) you’re getting the performance of something in its tier or even greater, for something closer to mid-range price.

For example, there is NOT a $500 – 600 Kraft Gun, but there is a $500 Timtam and a $600 Theragun model that has a lot of similar specifications to the Kraft Gun.

So, clearly, there are some benefits to the Kraft Gun’s pricing, even if it doesn’t seem like it at first.

Kraft Gun didn’t want to tell me how long this deal lasts, so I am unsure whether you are in a hurry or not.

User Reviews and Customer Reception

The Kraft Gun is an interesting product in that the company is clearly willing to leave up so many reviews that have negative things to say about the product that they sell.

The hilarious part about this, to me, is that almost all of the negative reception is aimed at both the customer service as well as the shipping time, not at the product itself.

The customers who receive are impressed and ecstatic at how well the Kraft Gun performs and lives up to its expectations.

They talk about how well it functions and how amazing it is. The customers who receive it, either on time or even late, praise it and go on about how happy it makes them.

There is one large issue, however, and that is that many customers wait for the up to two months or even more to receive their Kraft Guns. A few might never have received the product at all (not sure if what these customers say is true).

Furthermore, none of these wait times are consistent with their listed shipping times on their website. Most of the customers making these reviews live in America, and America has the lowest listed shipping time available, yet has the largest (at least visible) amount of waiting customers.

This is all a huge strike against the company and the product in general, unfortunately. It should be kept in mind if you are thinking about buying the Kraft Gun.

One final thing about shipping times: they have updated their website with a small note that states that due to high demand, shipping times may be longer than the base waiting times listed further on down below.

Final Thoughts: Worth the Buy?

The Kraft Gun is a great mid-range percussion massage gun that does everything that it promises to do.

It has great performance for its price, a plethora of different modes, positions, and features, and seems to have generally great reception with its customers.

However, customer service is very poor, and there are other percussion massage guns available to any consumer for either a cheaper price or a similar price with a more “secure” kind of shipping such as Amazon Prime.

The Kraft Gun is a really great product, and there are not many bad things to say about it besides the shipping and customer service. It is simply a very good product and does everything it says it does if you receive it.

My advice? The Kraft Gun does have refunds available, and it seems they are working to fix this issue, so if you want the brand-name and one of the best mid-range percussion massage guns, then it is a good buy (especially if you can get the discount) provided you get past the main downside of the shady past customer service.

Kraft Gun didn’t want to tell me how long this deal lasts, so I am unsure whether you are in a hurry or not.

For their sake, I hope they can this resolved in the future because then it would be a great deal.

Otherwise, if you want a cheaper option, a safer shipping process or other niche features the Kraft Gun may not have, it may be best to avoid it.

Pull the trigger or don’t: if you decide to, keeping tabs on their customer service is a good half-measure.

Sorry to hear about your painful experience. Not sure I can do much about it. Did you try writing on their FB page?
